This race is relatively new on everyone's radar and in its 3rd year
of production. I had the pleasure of meeting the founder of meeting the
founder of Peak Races (Joe Desena) who puts on a wide range of
ultra-endurance races including The Death Race, however the Vermont 30
Mile Challenge is for mountain bikers and on some of the best trails in
New England -- the kind of trails like the Pinnacle, Willowdale, and
Dalton have in common.
Joe has consulted with MTBMind and has relied on us to help deliver
an exceptional turn out for this years event. Race the relay or race it
solo, at $40 to enter you get a t-shirt, pig roast, and your chance to
win some serious cash money... $375 cash prize for the top male AND
female, not to mention $150 on top of that for King of the Hill winner
male AND female. $375 + $150 = $525 for a measly $40 entry.
Anyway, here are all the race specifics:

For those of you doing the VT 50 a few weeks after, this is the
perfect race to get your climbing legs in top form as there is some
seriousness to these hills. There ought to be if the average person
takes 6 hours to complete only 30 miles. Ouch!
