I just can't seem to get over the "Stretch Armstrong" effect.
Nor me, excellent vid Al.
Nice vid Al. Let's hope it's that dry on Sunday. I may be putting on some knob just in case since it really won't make much of a difference in speed on that course.
Chris, 18 Elite pre-reg, you're gonna have plenty of company.
I don't even want to watch this video because The Pinnacle has to be the best course, Dalton 24hr is very close, that seems to have a group of very ambitious and dedicated mt bikers constructing every year and I can't even ride a mtb right now and watching... .my co-worker broke my foot 9wks ago and have TI plates bla bla bla.
everyone enjoy that last mile of the course and hit the little jump before the Plunge for me. umm, not the Ben Moody jump!!!!
I agree Dan. 2 of the best courses in this area although Willowdale a few weeks ago was pretty damn sweet. You would have loved that course. My favorite course last year was the Darkhorse 40 on the border of NY and southwestern CT.
Heal up Dan - I thought your coworker broke his foot until I read the post again.
So.rry to hear about your injury Dan.....even with one foot I'm sure you could ride with me
We will be heading up there later today to do a little preride and camp out on the grass. Looks like a fairly heavy rain cell just passed overhead up there which could make things interesting.
I had to watch it. that last few minutes is exactly what I've always remembered. thanks Al. ohhh that was great. and when you approach the Plunge you're going downhill so everyone looks great .
it's probably bn more yrs than I want to realize but one year it was very muddy and it was so much fun. I recall catching Boobar and he and I were running through the mud near the beginning of the course and this overall slower rider was pedalling through it all .
