The RunOff is Maine’s oldest mountain bike race and is the newest event in EFTA’s NECS series. It’s a classic race in a beautiful town on the coast of Maine. This year the course will feature the same epic long technical singletrack climb but interspersed with new level “breather” sections. The view from the top of the racecourse has stunning view of the Ocean. The white-knuckle descent is still designed to test your downhill skills but there’s more flow and less braking. Last years new singletrack sections are buff and ready to rip. The course is 95% singletrack, challenging yet fun. Each lap is 5 miles but don’t be fooled, the terrain makes this a challenging full length race. The free kids race is held on much less challenging short course designed to keep the 12 and under crowd happy.

Try your luck and your legs on one of the nicest and most challenging EFTA championship courses in New England. The Treasure Valley Rally will be held on a sweet 9 mile course at the 1600 acre Treasure Valley Scout Reservation. The challenging course has something for everyone including plenty of singletrack with enough doubletrack mixed in, and classic New England riding with long downhills, climbs, rocks, roots, and plenty of lake views.
Bring the family for the free kids races, and your appetite for the post-race BBQ. Also, everyone is welcome to swim at the beach!
